Multimedia Solutions Launches Website Pro Bono for the Newark Police Foundation as Part of Partnership with Lowenstein Sandler
(Edgewater, NJ | June 24, 2021): As part of their partnership with Lowenstein Sandler, Multimedia Solutions recently designed and launched a website pro bono for the Newark Police Foundation in conjunction with a fundraising event.
The site provides an overview of the Newark Police Foundation – a nonprofit organization created to further the Newark Police Division’s mission of serving and protecting Newark residents and visitors – and aims to seek support from donors to fund its community-based programs.
To reduce crime in Newark, the Foundation has invested millions of dollars in projects, including the purchase of ShotSpotter sensors and creation of the Crime Stoppers and Gun Stoppers Tip Hotlines. Now, in an effort to strengthen police-community relations and build trust, especially among children, the Foundation has just developed a new initiative – the Cops and Kids Community Policing Contest.
As highlighted on the site, each of the seven precincts in Newark will receive a grant from the Foundation to develop an innovative community policing program that prioritizes youth engagement.
